The highly controversial film for objectionable scenes and dialogues ‘Thamassu’ that finally procured ‘A’ certificate the 4th film of Megha Movies that is all set for release on 11th June – Friday is caught in problems again. The trouble shot up is related to the distribution of the film.

In the Hubli and Mysore region a new clause has irked every Kannadiga. The distributors have decided to release ‘Thamassu’ after two weeks of screening in Bangalore and other regions. This kind of policy was applied for non Kannada films in the past. The recent ‘Kites’ issue upset some of the non Kannada film distributors and exhibitors has lead to the surfacing of this new problem.

According to sources available why Kannada film ‘Thamassu’ declined release is because in some of the centers they are committed to ‘Vedham’ Telugu film release.

Noted producer Rockline Venkatesh is meeting the Northern Karnataka strong clout Mr Odhugowder distributor of all language films on this issue on Thursday morning at 11 am in Hubli.

On Thursday there is another meeting at Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to decide on pros and cons on this issue. Meanwhile the debutant director and editor of tabloid Agni, Sridhar said “We have enemies inside Kannada for screening films”.
